Dance Festival

Yesterday was the kids' dance festival at school.  It's always so much fun to go to.  The videos are horrible quality, but I want to remember anyway, so they are there.  Both kids are on the 2nd row back, so it's kind of hard to see them.  I was so proud of both of them for doing so well.

Haley's Zoo Field Trip

 About a month ago, I was able to go with Haley's class to the zoo.  It rainy, snowy, windy and cold the whole time.  But, it was still fun.  Her teacher really knows how to do field trips.  She had enough parent volunteers so that each parent only had their own child and one other.  How nice and easy.  I loved it.  So, I just had to worry about Haley and her friend Alexis. 

On my mind

There has been so much on my mind lately.  Here are a few things I've been thinking about:
*all the fun things we can do this summer
*getting so excited for this cute little baby to be out of me so I can share her with everyone
*why does it seem that all the stress and busyness comes at the same time?
*excited that we just bought our first rental property--can't wait to get the work done and get it rented
*still amazed that everyday things make my body so sore and tired--being pregnant in your 30's is just not the same (or maybe it's been so long that I just can't remember how sore and tired pregnancy makes you)
*wondering if I can be the person my family needs me to be
*decluttering and rearranging our house
*loving the weather the past few days
*marveling about how interesting people are

Haley's Hula Recital

Haley started taking hula this past year at Island Style Dance Studio.  My good friend, Lani, owns the studio.  Haley has had so much fun.  She absolutely loves it.
This video is one of her dances from the recital.  It is a Tahitian Dance so there is a lot of hip shaking.
