Friday Flight

Jason was done with work early on Friday, so he picked the kids up after school and we all headed out to the Provo Airport for a scenic ride.

It was Haley's first time ever flying with Jason as the pilot and our first family flight in the new plane.

We flew up over Provo and Orem. We found our house and circled around several times so everyone had a good view of it.

We saw the BYU stadium with the newly painted field for the first home game.

We saw the Provo temple and all the beautiful colors up on the mountain.

I love all the fall colors right now!

It's so fun flying over Utah Lake and it looks so pretty from the sky.

It was a really quick flight, but so much fun. The weather was beautiful and everything was easy to see.

Britton sat in the co-pilot's seat and LOVED that.

Afterward, Haley said it was "so scary" and "too fast", but I know that she secretly loved it because she was also talking about how cool it is that her dad can fly a plane.

I love wearing the headphones and listening to Jason communicate with the tower. I also love taking off and landing.

There's nothing quite like flying!
