(For those of you who don't know, Kayla is Haley's imaginary friend. She joined our family in Feb. 2007 and she's been a very "real" part of our lives.)
So, the other day I had this conversation with Haley.
H: Mom, did you know that Kayla isn't real?
Me: Really?
H: Yeah, I just wanted to do a really funny joke.
And what a funny joke it has been. Maybe she could get into the Guiness Book of World Records for the world's longest joke. We've been laughing about Kayla's antics for almost 3 years.
