Yesterday Britton said okay when I asked him if he wanted to take a turkey and cheese sandwich to lunch instead of his usual peanut butter and honey. For those of you who don't know Britton the way I do, THIS IS HUGE!!! Peanut butter and honey sandwiches are totally his comfort food. For many years now he has had at least one everyday. If he's sad, he says he needs one. If it's late at night and he can't fall asleep, he says he needs one. If he doesn't like what we're having for dinner, he says he needs one. It's more than just his sandwich of choice.
So the fact that he can make it through the day at school without one is a good thing. I love that he is loving school.
